Getting it all together.

I've actually started working on this site again after getting side tracked with work for the last few months.  I've changed the format of the site to be a blog but I will still write articles as I can.  While I do this and by popular demand I will be reposting my article on the RTSP Protocol.  It has become pretty popular with close to 10000 reads so far this year. :)

Thanks for visiting and putting up with this update.  If you have anything in particular that you would like to see here or have any thing you woulld like to share please let me know and I'll post it up.

Tiscali has revealed that it is to start rolling out its IPTV service nationwide across the UK, and aims to sign up 500,000 subscribers by the end of this year and extend its reach to 10mn households.

The service, called Tiscali TV, currently has 50,000 customers, mostly in North and West London and in Hertfordshire.  The service will initially be extended to central, north and north-west England, with areas in the north-east and Scotland to go live in October.

Tiscali TV offers 80 channels, and the basic triple play package of video, voice and broadband is available from £19.99 per month, including Sky’s basic channels.  Sky’s premium movie and sports channels are also available, while an on-demand service features around 1,000 movie titles.
